She was dedicated to the village, and put her heart and soul in everything that she did,' said Glendale Heights Trustee Pat Maritato. 'What made Linda a great mayor was she loved the village and the people she served.' Jackson, 74, died of complications from metastatic breast cancer Aug. 30 at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth GlenOaks Hospital in Glendale Heights, said her daughter, Tracy Claudio.
